We at The World Polyamory Association (WPA) facilitate global healing.  We contribute to healing the world when we help individuals feel good about themselves and honor their gender, relationship choices, sexual preferences and sexual orientation.

Polyamory means loving more than one person in an intimate relationship without deceit. We're all polyamorous, meaning we love more than one.  Most of us have intimate relationships in our lives; we love our families and friends as well as our lovers. Intimates help us see and love ourselves, share love and be loved.  The media confounds polyamory–multiple loving with poly-sex–sexual intercourse with contemporary multiple partners.  While some of us are poly-coital and some not, we all need to be polyamorous for the intimacy that sustains us and the world. WPA supports love, amory and your search for love through your freedom to choose the relationships that work for you now, at this stage of your life.

The World Polyamory Association conferences strive to shift the planet to more loving, to create a civilized civilization free of personal, inter-personal and global strife.  We play, sing, dance, network and also heal at our conferences.  We offer workshops, panel discussions, seminars, dance, song, movement, massage experiences; workshops that educate, let you play, create networking opportunities and for you.

Icebreakers & Pods for Intimate Community, Part 1 - Sasha Lessin, Janet Kira Lessin  CC
Mill around the big conference room, shake each others' hands and gaze in one another's eyes.  Feel attractions that arise. Then, based on your attractions sit with six to twelve other folks.

The group you choose is your POD. It's the group you tell who you are and what we want. Your pod's the sacred circle of souls who encourage you to get what you want at the conference and in life. You talk now, and will talk tomorrow morning and Sunday, just before the conference ends.  You talk with your pod mates about what you learn about yourselves as you explore poly loving.  Pods, then, are small face-to-face primary groups for conference integration. Your pod's a safe space to nourish community consciousness, create intimate, relationships us and our podners––the people in your pod––-can open-up, share what you deeply value and, most importantly, experience loving support for who you are and what you do.

Poly Playshop: Exercises in Authentic Loving - Kamala Devi and Michael McClure CC

This is a hands-on exploration of authentic love to help reveal your limiting beliefs and direct experiences.  It's all too easy to sit back at a conference and listen to someone else talk about issues of ego, insecurity, abundance, and ultimate Truth, but it takes courage to open your mouth, and perhaps even your heart.  This experiential playshop will use provocative inquiry and small group games. Ready to come out and Play?

9:50 - 12:50

Living Compersion: An Experiential and Tantric Workshop - Anastas Harris & Steven Vogue  CC
Compersion is an experience where I am uplifted when my partner is uplifted through experiences that he or she shares with others, including when those experiences involve love and sexuality. It is the acceptance that those you love can love others and the capacity to experience pleasure, and even joy and turn-on, when this occurs. Compersion is essential to Polyamory.

Tantra is a spiritual path that is conducive to compersion and which, if truly lived, flows seamlessly into Polyamory. In this workshop, we begin by revealing how this is so.

Then, in twos, fours and small groups, we move into compersion, Tantra and Poly in a dance that may be playful or soulful, mental or sensual, and that stretch boundaries or provide the opportunity to stretch into already extended boundaries with a variety of individuals or couples. We place you in situations in which you have the opportunity to experience or develop your compersionate nature in an enriching and supportive atmosphere.

9:50 - 12:50

Beyond Boundaries - Scott Longwell (Lower Dining Room)
Have you experienced how the rigidity of boundaries can sometimes get in the way of your connecting and accomplishing things with others?  In a healthy, intimate, poly relationship you express your interests -- what lies underneath your boundaries.  When you identify and share those interests you invite your lovers to collaborate on your success.  In this workshop, we improve our ability to openly and compellingly share our full self with another.

We practice expressing the desires, pain and interests of our heart, mind, intuition, and sexuality.  By sharing the richness of the often conflicting truths that we try to protect rather than state a boundary we let our lovers see us more deeply and they are more inspired to partner with us on our self-care.

In this experiential workshop we practice communicating from the integrity of our WholeBody.  We use WholeBody Learning that engages, empowers, and integrates the heart, mind and body.

2:20 - 3:50PM

Three or More in Love- Harold Kornylak, Amber Seitz  CC
An enduring, fulfilling two person partnership is rare enough. Even most animals tend to pair-bond. It’s totally impractical to think of expanding beyond the dyad, perhaps to 3, or 4? In Three or More in Love, we explore the unique dynamics when more than two relate. We explore how to keep a triad from being a pair plus one. Gain insight into your relating style and how compatible it is for going beyond the dyad. (Discussion and experiential exercises).

4 - 5:30PM

Bisexual Polyamourous Couple Building a Group Marriage - Terry and Paul Brussel-Gibbons and Laura Fiecher LP
Terry and Paul Brussel-Gibbons are a bisexual married couple. They have been involved in the polyamourous lifestyle of multiply committed relationships since their teens. They will share how each of them discovered their bisexuality and how it has affected their experiences in relating to outside lovers together and separately...in bringing special people closer. On June 2, 2001 Terry and Paul were handfasted with Marcus Brussel-Jenkins, and then on November 27, 2005 Laura Brussel-Fiechter joined
the Triad in a four-way handfasting ceremony to create a Quad. Laura will present with them here. They will all be happy to answer questions about how triads/quads work and the effect bisexuality has in this relationship.

4 - 5:30PM

Rapid Techniques for Jealousy Management - Dave Doleshal  LP
There are many good ideas and effective techniques that can be used to manage jealousy. All of them work at least to some extent.  This workshop will include two others that are very powerful, easy to learn, but not yet widely known within the polyamory community.  These are the methods originally pioneered by psychologist Roger Callahan and methods invented by Dr. Edward Bach, a British Homeopathic physician.

5:30 - 6:30PM

Honor Your & Others' Compersive and Jealous Voices - Sasha, Janet Kira Lessin CC
Experience basics of Centering to balance Jealous and Compersive voices in yourself and others. Hear and satisfy both Jealous and Compersive impulses; teach others to satisfy both too.  Learn how to simultaneously value the Inner Kids within you and your lovers.  Jealous voices remind you and your sweethearts to protect your  vulnerable Inner Kids.  Jealous voices give you chances to stop neurotic self- criticism from unfavorable comparisons.  You reprogram yourself and your lovers to instead enjoy the empathy of your Compersive Voice. Future-pace applying Centering when Jealousy arises within you or your intimates.

(because compromise is where you share).  Get into sweet connection with each other’'s needs, instead of polarized by each other's strategies.  Learn consensual morality & transparency to support everyone’s choice for how they need to be loved & to create their own designer relationship.  Practice simple tools to QTIP (Quit taking it personally)& to deliver difficult messages compassionately and without criticism. Recovering your lovejoy when buttons have been pushed.  Recognize and transform the core beliefs that disconnect us from our lovejoy.  Recover and sustain the lovejoy in all your relationships

and help you move kundalini through the body. Open to your full sexual aliveness. An opportunity to experience the depths our breath can open within us. Brief lecture followed by breathing practice, dyad exercises, and a brief tantric ritual.

Power Exchange for Polys & Useful Skills from the Kink World - Master Rex & Miss Jane  CC
This workshop deals with the skills and etiquette required for BDSM power exchange and how they can be applied in the real world to make life a simple pleasure. The approaches to negotiation and conflict resolution essential to successfully navigate the world of fetish and kink have direct benefits if properly and discretely applied in the world of relationship and business. With his submissive sex slave Jane as a demo helper, Rex covers the basic tools we can use while he gives a gentle and appetizing introduction to the world of Slaves and Masters.  Fun and enjoyable.

10:45AM-12:15PM

The Myth of Having A Separate Relationship  - Kirsten Rose CC
Polyamory is often defined as several separate relationships going on simultaneously. However, an alternative perspective, inspired by shamanism, tantra and family systems theory, is to view polyamory all as one single relationship that encompasses multiple persons and multiple points of responsibility. Viewing relationships this way resolves a number of practical "problems" often confronting people wishing to create and sustain non-monogamous lifestyles.

10:45AM-12:15PM

A Holistic Model for Natural Polyamory - Rafael Aisner LP
Hear the physiological, psychological and metaphysical evidence that polyamory is a balanced, natural way for us to relate with ourselves, other people and our environment. Rafael shares personal and transpersonal experiences from his ten years as an urban shaman, counselor and hypnotherapist, then leads a visualization to facilitate our natural experience of polyamory.

Pod Retrospective & Parting Puja - Sasha Lessin, Janet Kira Lessin  CC
